Blisters and blueberries

Miss M slept 7 hours last night, a first! She just turned 10 weeks old and it is always a treat when she sleeps in. I love this stage of her life but I do miss getting a full nights sleep.

I woke up with so much energy I made a big country breakfast: buttermilk blueberry pancakes with blueberry sauce and sausage. To be honest it was almost too much but it tasted so good.

Afterwards we got started on tilling the gardens and prepping them for the seedlings. It was hard-work, my poor hands are sore and I've got two big blisters (should have worn gloves, too late now) but the gardens are tilled. Not quite ready to go since we enlarged them and there was a lot of sod to get through but good enough for today. We'll give it a couple weeks for the sod and root wads to break down and then till again before planting the seedlings.

Only another week of classes and then finals. I'm glad we got the garden work done so I can focus on classes. Another year and I will have my AS in Business, then on to the university for my BS in Ag Business Management. :)
